This is a great cabin for a girls trip! There was plenty of room for the 8 of us and we found everything we needed in the kitchen to cook a few meals and the bathrooms were spacious and very clean. The hot tub was a bonus!

This place was a dream! Nestled in the pines, it felt private yet close to everything in Hochatown. The cabin was spotless, with beautiful decor, a wonderful deck for morning coffee, and an amazing hot tub/fire pit setup for evenings. Game room kept us entertained, and the kitchen had everything we needed for meals. Beds were surprisingly comfy. The coffee bar setup was a plus!

Enjoyed a relaxing weekend in this beautiful, well appointed cabin! There was plenty of room for our group of 8 friends, and we loved all the features of this property. Beds and furniture were comfortable, huge island in the kitchen was a perfect spot for snacking and chatting, plus the wooded setting on the river was tranquil and serene. We enjoyed porch sitting near the outdoor fireplace and relaxing in the hot tub between hands of mahjong. We also had a nice hike in the state park nearby. Would highly recommend this home for groups of friends or family!

Cabin was perfect for our girls weekend get-away! Nice amenities and wonderful views! Large kitchen and plenty of space for all. We enjoyed the hot tub and the living area was comfortable. I would recommend to friends!

The cabin was very nice! It was well kept. Although I was one of the exception, who did not like their very soft beds, the rest of my family enjoyed their beds. We had a couple of things that needed to be addressed, but otherwise our stay was very relaxing. One of the walk-in shower clogged so that needed to be fixed. It rained during our stay, one of the thunderous afternoon caused water to come in thru to the door where the pool table sits. On our last day we tried to load the dishwasher and the sink backed up and started leaking water out from under the sink to the kitchen floor. We had to stop everything and alert the property manager. Other than those issues, we had a great time in this cabin. The creek was full because of the rain. We walked the grounds, we skipped rocks, we fished, and I even took a nap in one of those hammocks. We will definitely come back to this cabin.

I was impressed when we first arrived. This was my first time ever renting out any sort of cabin and I have to say, for any future bookings, Kim has set the bar high. The cabin felt like home. Like an escape of from your city worries. One of the main things I could not get over was how elegant the master bedroom looked. Sliding doors to the back deck and the scenery there was just perfect. My guests and I had a wonderful weekend staying at this cabin and I can honestly admit I will be booking Kim's cabins for any future getaways.

Are you looking for the most beautiful, quiet relaxing place to stay? Then River Sound is your destination. It is a beautiful cabin with three master suites and additional sleeping areas. The cabin was clean, the beds were very comfortable and the shower areas were huge. This is the perfect place to share with friends or family. It is also a perfect place to just enjoy your own family. The scenery is breathtaking, especially the river flowing through the back of this property. The owner has carefully thought of your needs while you stay. If you make this your family vacation, you will go home rested!

Overall was a great house that we were able to spend New Years at. We had 12 total people (6 adults 6 children) and the house was great space-wise. The location of the house is back a bit so was nice and remote. No neighbor cabins caused any noise issues and it was great to have a clear view out the back of the house with nothing but nature and the creek to look at. The creek was great and along with the on site playground was perfect to keep all the kids entertained. The grill worked perfectly and the kitchen was able to handle any meal we wanted to make. The only downside was the lack of nature walking trails, but we were able to walk along the road around the neighborhood a bit no problem. Overall a great stay and a great house to make some awesome memories with friends!

A great trip was had by all!! The house was beautiful and spacious. The children had a wonderful time playing outdoor on the play set and making s’mores at the fire pit! When I called to say our coffee machine was not working they had a new one there on in 20 min.! I would like to suggest that there be foil available and maybe a few zip lock bags. My husband and I had a bit of a hard time finding the house, of course the kids had no problem finding the house. We would definitely come back again!

This house was perfect for our family vacation to Hochatown/Broken Bow. The host is very responsive and provided all the information we needed to find and enter the house. The house is stunning. It is spotless and well-designed and equipped. From casserole dishes to sheet pans, we had everything we needed to cook meals “at home.” The outdoor space is amazing. We used the gas grill several times and played cornhole on the deck. Even in July, we could always find a hammock or an Adirondack chair in the shade. The creek running through the back is idyllic. There are plenty of towels right by the back door for the hot tub. There’s a swing set for the kids! The beds are extremely comfortable, and the showers are huge (there’s also a bathtub). We ventured into town for zip lining, hiking, and paddle boating. We swam in the lake and went on a short train ride. There are several nice restaurants close by, and we even found a Starbucks! We can’t wait to go back!

The best part of our stay was spending time together hanging out playing pool and cornhole, but my morning coffee on the deck with nothing but the wind in the trees, and sound of the water from the creek was so peaceful.

The house is beautiful and the property is wonderful! Very spacious and secluded. We had a lot of fun playing in the creek, skipping rocks, and relaxing in the hammocks. The seating down by the water and around the fire pit close to the house were very nice. Our children also had a great time on the playset, and the indoor games. It would be nice to have firewood available onsite. The bunk room beds are high and the top bunks don’t have a rail above mattress line for safety. There also isn’t one central table for everyone to eat together. Didn’t make a difference for our visit, but if visiting on a holiday, like Thanksgiving, that could have been a disappointment. We really had a great time and already talked about returning to this property. The rooms and beds were great for our families.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay at this cabin! The name of the cabin was very fitting and listening to the creek run during our stay was something we enjoyed the most. I don’t know how old the cabin actually was but it is very well maintained. We are planning a return trip down later this summer and will definitely book this cabin again if it’s available!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our stay at this house was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning interior design - it's both stylish and incredibly comfortable. The cleanliness was impeccable, which is always a huge plus for us. The amenities were top-notch. We had a blast playing shuffleboard, unwinding in the hot tub, and challenging each other to games on the pool table and video games. There was never a dull moment! The attention to detail in every aspect of this house, from the decor to the amenities, truly made our stay memorable. We can't wait to come back and create more amazing memories here. River Sound is a beautiful property and the owners paid attention to every detail. There’s a running spring-fed creek at the back of the property with hammocks tied between the trees. It incredibly peaceful. The hot tub out back is great. River Sound is 5 star and we will definitely be back.

Beautiful house tucked away in the woods! So much to do in and around the house :) The stream behind was lovely. We did take 2 way radios with us, which came in handy when leaving the house since a couple people didn’t get cell service on the back roads. I would definitely stay here again!

Three king beds, all so comfy. All had their own full bath with bath robes. Everyone felt catered to. We did not need the bunk room but it was impressive! Plenty of spaces inside and out to read a book, have a cup of coffee, conversation. Near hiking etc. This was our first family getaway with adult children and spouses. Perfect. Can’t wait to book again.
