River Sound

When you arrive at River Sound, you will find a large luxury cabin surrounded by a winding river, mature pines, and an outdoor experience like no other.  As you enter, you will step into the coziest living room equipped with 2 leather couches big enough for the entire family, as well as 2 additional chairs for extra seating.  The luxury furnishings create a very moody ambiance.  You will see a big screen TV above the fireplace waiting for you to lay back and relax. To the right, you will find the kitchen providing an island bar with seating for 4, brand new kitchen appliances, and enough counter space for the chef of the group to prepare the finest cuisine while still being included in the fun with the open floor plan. Down the hallway past the kitchen you will find the laundry room and half bath. Keep going down the hall to find one of the King Masters located downstairs providing the comfiest king size Canopy Bed, side table storage on both sides of the bed with lamps for those late night readers, big screen tv, dresser storage for more space, as well as private entrance to the patio. Stepping into the master bathroom, you will find His and Hers vanities with enough counter space for all of the necessities, as well as a beautifully tiled spacious walk in shower. Moving on to the second King Master bedroom located downstairs by the staircase, you will be provided with another comfortable king size Canopy Bed, side table storage on both sides of the bed with lamps for those late night readers, big screen tv, dresser storage for more space, as well as private entrance to the patio. Stepping into the master bathroom, you will find his and hers vanities with enough counter space for all of the essentials, large soaker tub, as well as another beautifully tiled spacious walk in shower. Take the stairs to find your last King Master bedroom providing a king size bed, side tables on both sides of the bed with lamps for our late night readers, as well as extra storage in the dresser. Walking into the king master bathroom you will find a walk in shower with a single vanity sink . The last bedroom in this cabin is the bunk room provided with 2 bunk beds and the coolest arcade game for the kids to enjoy while the parents are asleep down the hall.  A queen foldout bed is also located upstairs as well. Travel back downstairs and through the living room to find the game area fully equipped with a pool table, as well as dining table for 4.  A shuffleboard and video game for the kids are available upstairs as well.  Open the big glass sliding door to reveal the star of the show. This patio / back yard area has provided you with a big screen tv over the fireplace with seating for 3-4, brand new grill that has been hard-lined in for easier use, extra seating around the patio deck, a private hot tub overlooking the river, playset for the kids, firepit with seating for 6, as well as four hammocks hanging all the way down to the water.  We suggest you bring folding chairs so you can hang out by the river.  Please rest in the hammocks, watch the fireflies, listen to the crickets, and let the sound of the river put you to sleep.   This is THE cabin of your dreams. You will never want to stay in another cabin once you've experienced River Sound cabin in Hochatown.

Located near all the best restaurants, activities, and park amenities.  It is just a short drive to Broken Bow Lake, Beavers Bend State Park, popular hiking trails, restaurants, breweries, wineries and downtown Hochatown and access to all the outdoors activities you want – boating, hiking, fly-fishing, kayaking, zip-lining, ATV trails, horseback riding, Cedar Creek Golf Course, mini-golf, helicopter rides, mining for gold, train rides, go-carts, and a really great petting zoo.

Don’t forget these items when you come to visit:
• Rain gear and light jackets (Our average rainfall is 55″-60″ each year).
• We have beautiful scenic trails; good hiking boots are a must.
• Water-shoes for our vast shorelines and streams.
• Insect repellent, sun block, and other first-aid supplies.
• Coffee and filters – enjoy this while sitting on the deck in the early morning.
• Condiments --A starter supply of coffee/filters, cream/sugar, salt/pepper, paper towels, toilet paper, bath soap, dish soap, dishwasher tablets, trash bags, and laundry soap are provided, but guests may need to bring additional supplies.
